The Last Leader
Here’s a thought
“Is ‘opens and clicks’ a measure of quality?”
After six years this is the last Leader. The ‘opens and clicks’ have dropped off and Rod my director of content is telling me the format is tired and it needs to be put to rest.
I think The Leader stands as a contemporaneous record of my thinking as a team coach and by inference reflects some of the main themes exercising the construction industry executives I have worked with over this period of time.
Looking back I have picked my favourites along with the most popular three by ‘opens and clicks’ to form my top ten. My favourites are all from this year which suggests to me, at least, that my recent ones are my best.
The readers’ favourite, based on ‘opens and clicks’, is The Time Leader. Possibly reflecting the ever increasing pressure on ‘time’ or maybe the Pink Floyd connection?
Anyway, here is my top ten – probably a bit self-indulgent though why not I am proud of The Leader:
- The Team Leader – thinking about your team
- The Delegate Leader – master delegation and forget about ‘time management’
- The Conscious Leader – a moment of clarity to visualise your future
- The Brand Leader – how brand and culture are inseparable
- The Time Leader – “One day you find ten years have got behind you. No one told you when to run you missed the starting gun”
- The Form Leader – only if you are serious about success
- The Big Picture Leader – it is impacting your organisation right now.
- The Productivity Leader – 17% productive and apparently that’s typical.
- The Trustworthy Leader – a model for building trust
- The Systems Leader – “John is useless and we can’t get good staff” … maybe it’s the system?
These are all on my website and if ‘opens and clicks’ are to be believed you may not have seen them before.
While this is The Last Leader I continue to write my blog which I am happy to say is steadily increasing in ‘opens and clicks’ – is that a measure of their quality, who knows?
